Aloha All,
As promised, I am signing into the blog and hoping that we can use it as a tool during the week to talk about the basic tools ~ the morning pages, the artist date and the daily walking. (That include things we're excited about, accomplishments, blocks and barriers, "poor-me's," a need for support ~ anything goes....)
Yes, it seems like a lot. I would like to report that I completed morning pages on Saturday and this morning (Sunday). So, I am going to use the new artist's tool tracker that I created and mark my week beginning Saturday and ending with Friday each week....just in time to report a whole week during class check in. I am in a bit of a dry spell with my morning pages. It happens...but the idea is to keep on pushing, keep up with it and wait for the next big flow. Things are always happening and moving within us. We're just not always able to see it, to feel it tangibly. Just keep on writing.
I walked about 30 minutes at Big Beach yesturday. I plan to walk an hour today around sunset...get it out of the way early in the week. Maybe I will be inspired to have 1 hour walks more than once during the week.
My artist date? Hmmm. Haven't quite decided on that yet.
So, that's it for me for now. It's Sunday, and there are many things planned in my day. A mixture of work, play and leisure.
To sign into the blog ~ just click on the "follow" link. There will be prompts after that. If you have any trouble...let me know.
Also, I just want to say that I am very excited about our group! So glad that all of you could join in. Seems like we are going to have a potent experience. It will be amazing to watch all of us unfold more into our life purpose and creativity.
Yay!
Happy Sunday,
Dawn

Synchronicity
Have you ever noticed that when you align yourself with a thought or are really focusing all of your energy on a certain idea or person or plan, that things start to show up almost magically in your environment that seem to perfectly be in tune with your thought? That is called synchronicity. For example, on Saturday, I was really finding myself electrified by some spontaneous new idea to put all my stuff in storage, pack up my van and live in different places on the island for a month at a time. I was really focused, working out all the details in my mind and feeling a sense of total freedom and exhilaration at the thought of it all. Within an hour, I met a woman who was looking for someone to sublease her place for a month, right in the area I wanted to start out in! Ah.....synchronicity!
Of course, by the time I got back to my beautiful jungle hideaway with phenomenal ocean and jungle views, I decided that as fun as my plan sounded earlier in the day, it was only just a pleasant daydream.
In any case, I am always pleased to see how quickly the Universal energies seem to line up to support us in any idea we have. To bring it into manifestation, all we need do is continue to focus on our specific intention and begin taking action on it.
Since this is the time of month of the New Moon, there is no better time like the present to get into the flow of your intentions, as you will be naturally supported and accelerated by the lunar currents.
You are the master of your own Universe!

Looking for a new Monday night group...
Aloha,
There are 3 people who would like to form a Monday night Artist's Way group on Monday's at the Temple of Peace from 4 -6:30 pm. I would need atleast 7 more people to get started.
The Artist's Way Creative Cluster is a powerful 12- week class, based on Julia Cameron's book "The Artist's Way," designed to put you back in touch with your truth and help you to remove any "blockages" standing in your way.
Email Dawn Elizabeth for further details at dawnelizabeth.ma@gmail.com

Morning Pages
The morning pages have become somewhat like an old comfortable friend. Each morning, I make my tea and sit outside on my beautiful deck, overlooking the grandeur of Haiku and the grace and beauty of the steady moving ocean. Some mornings, I am angry or tense, still dealing with the ending of my relationship and finding my way into my new life. Other days, I already start out inspired and become more inspired.
At the end of the three pages ~ no matter what my frame of mind and emotion when I began ~ I am always better off and feeling more resolved about my day, about myself, about my life.
There's really something magical about unloading it all onto paper when you first wake up. It's like taking out the garbage first thing in the morning and having a clean house the rest of the day.
It's a place to spill out your hopes, dreams and wishes ~ and to inspire yourself to reach those somehow, buy a plan or by the Grace of God, or a little of both.
Anyone else have anything to say about their morning writing? Please share your thoughts...

Our new group is awesome!
Aloha All,
Just want to say that all day I have been feeling really honored to be a part of such an amazing group of people, all gathered together in the Temple of Peace, finding our groove.
Courtney has written extensively about the Artist's Date ~ a good read. She has given me permission to post. Also, she has a friend in Wailea who makes hats...who needs help on Thursday's. Since cut and paste doesn't seem to work in the blog, I will try to find another way. Maybe I will just forward her email to everyone
Any suggestions? Anyone know how to cut and paste onto a blog? Is there some magic to it?

Maui Artist's Way ~ New Cluster this Friday!
Wow! So far, there are 18 people on the list! Of course, not everyone is confirmed, but there are still calls and email inquiries coming in.
I'm very organized this go-around and have lots of great hand-outs and am ready for a very successful 12-week series for all!
As with the last series, we had some people who joined in around the 2nd and 3rd classes. If we have a very large group, I may decide to hold a separate class. In fact, there are a few people who can't make it on Friday's, but CAN make it Monday's...so there could be a Monday class in the works.
For those of you coming for sure, it's never too early to begin reading up through Week 1 if you already have the book.
I have about 6 copies of the book left for purchase at the first class, as well as some cute journals I scooped up at Ross for only $4 ~ $5 each. I think I have 8 of them or so.
OK...well, looking forward to Friday!
See ya then...
